MountainOne Bank adds to successful Commercial Lending Program North Adams, MA – MountainOne Bank, a full service financial institution headquartered in North Adams with branches in Williamstown, Pittsfield, and Boston’s South Shore, continues to expand its Commercial Banking team in an ongoing effort to support the business community in the Berkshires.
Notably, MountainOne was recently recognized by Banker & Tradesman as the 8th fastest growing commercial lender in Massachusetts in early 2022 as compared to the same time in 2021. Contributing to this dynamic growth has been the expansion of MountainOne’s commercial group in the Berkshires under the guidance of Commercial Lending Team Leader and Senior Vice President Richard (Dick) Kelly who joined the team in 2021.
Matt Lauro most recently joined MountainOne’s lending team in Pittsfield mid 2022 as Senior Vice President. A resident of Pittsfield, he is focused on supporting businesses and entrepreneurs throughout western Massachusetts bringing with him over a decade of experience. Lauro holds a bachelor’s degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Lally School of Business, serves on the Pittsfield Affordable Housing Trust, and is a Board Member of Berkshire Education & Correction.
In addition to Kelly and Lauro, MountainOne’s Commercial Lending team in the Berkshires also consists of Steve Munger, Vice President of Commercial Lending, and Assistant Vice President Jake Phillips who is responsible for growing small business lending outreach. Heather Row also joined the department in 2022 as a Portfolio Manager, bringing over 25 years of financial management, credit analysis, and middle-market Commercial & Industrial lending knowledge. The team is further supported by Jamie Ciepiela who has over 15 years of banking administration experience.
