The Votes Are In!

Find out who one the best displays for the 2022 LumiNAMA on Friday, December 16 at 5 p.m. at Desperados! This reception is weather dependent. The reschedule date is Tuesday, December 20 at 5 p.m.

Thank you to all of the businesses, artists and organizations who made the city much brighter this month! Displays will be on view until January 1, so there’s still time to take in the creations.

Check for an email on Friday about the confirmed date for the winner’s reception.

Unsilent Night 2022

Despite low temps, roughly 80 folks participated in the annual Unsilent Night tradition on Friday night in Adams. Carolers carried boom boxes and dressed up in lights to stroll around downtown Adams with a special stop inside the Adams Theatre. Next year the event returns to North Adams.

The Northern Berkshire tradition is organized by Isabelle Holmes, Todd Reynolds, Michelle Daly of Daly Arts, Molly Hess, Sandra Thomas, Brad Wells of Williams College, Nico Dery of the North Adams Chamber of Commerce, John Tibbetts and Sue Killam of MASS MoCA, and will be hosted by Yina Moore at the Adams Theater.

FIRST Friday 2023
